TEEN PREGNANCY

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, pregnancy and birth are significant contributors to high school dropout rates among girls. Only about 50% of teen mothers receive a high school diploma by 22 years of age, whereas approximately 90% of women who do not give birth during adolescence graduate from high school. They could use all the love and support you can give. Raising a child is a great honor, but with great honor comes great responsibility.

Teen pregnancy happens, and young moms need help. They don't need to feel like they've failed and that their future is ruined. We should lead the way on this issue with a spirit of grace. What could your WAVE do to come alongside teen moms to let them know people care?
